Parking Information

As we prepare for record attendance at the 2026 Space & Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium, we are pleased to offer expanded parking options to help ensure a convenient arrival experience for all attendees.

Included Parking for SMD Attendees

As in previous years, complimentary parking for registered SMD Symposium attendees will be available in:

Lot B
Lot K
Lot M

New for 2026: Expanded Parking Capacity

To accommodate increased attendance, additional parking has been secured in the following locations:

Garage D
Meridian Street Lots
Lumberyard Lots

Shuttle Service Available

The City of Huntsville will provide complimentary shuttle service between the additional parking areas and the Von Braun Center (VBC) throughout conference hours.

Shuttles will run continuously to help attendees travel conveniently between the expanded parking locations and the conference venue.

Plan Ahead

We encourage attendees to arrive early, particularly during peak morning arrival periods. Parking attendants and directional signage will be available to assist guests and help ensure a smooth parking experience.

Registration and Badge Pickup

You can register on-site, but for faster service, register online, then have your emailed QR code ready along with a valid ID to quickly get your badge.

Registration areas will be in the South Hall and East Hall areas starting Monday, August 10, 0900-1700. Express Registration will be open in front of Saturn Hall Tuesday morning with QR codes only. If you don’t have your QR code, go to the East or South Hall locations and type your name into a computer to retrieve your registration.

Exhibit Hall Hours

Tuesday, August 11th, 0900-1700

Wednesday, August 12th, 0900-1700

Thursday, August 13th, 0900-1200

Lunches during the Symposium

Sit-down lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday are sold out. Exhibitor lunches will be in the corridor between South and East Hall. Grab-and-go lunches for attendees will be available in the corridor by Saturn Hall. Numerous restaurants are near the VBC, including Rhythm on Monroe located in the VBC.
